Expert Crack Repair Solutions
Trust Dwyer’s expert crack repair systems to fix foundation cracks, stop water seepage, and strengthen structural integrity. Our industry-leading injection solutions seal cracks quickly and effectively, protecting your home.
Why Cracks Happen?
- Stair-step cracks in block walls usually indicate settlement
- Horizontal cracks often signal soil pressure against basement walls
- Vertical cracks in drywall typically follow foundation movement
- Diagonal cracks at corners suggest differential settlement
The key point is that water damage to your foundation can be a gradual process of months or even years, starting small but potentially leading to significant structural and moisture problems if left unaddressed.
Our Crack Repair Solutions

How Our Systems Work
Dwyer’s Polyurethane Injection System effectively seals cracks of any size to stop water infiltration. We inject a specially formulated polyurethane directly into the crack, which activates upon contact with water and expands up to 700% to create a watertight seal. The polyurethane maintains flexibility to accommodate natural structural movement and settling. After injection, we apply a cement patch compound to finish the repair and restore the surface appearance.
Our crack repair service delivers quick, effective, and cost-efficient results, with most projects completed within a single day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a warranty on foundation crack repairs?
Yes. All of our foundation crack repair services are backed by industry-leading warranties for lasting peace of mind. Our certified technicians use proven injection systems and repair methods to ensure your foundation is protected against future leaks and structural issues. During your consultation, we’ll explain the warranty coverage for your specific type of repair and answer any questions about long-term protection.
How do crack injection systems work?
Crack injection involves drilling ports along the crack and injecting specialized epoxy resins under pressure. These materials penetrate deep into the crack, fill all voids, and cure to create a strong, waterproof seal that prevents further water infiltration and structural deterioration. The cured epoxy bonds to the concrete, restoring structural integrity.
How long does crack repair take?
Most crack repair projects are completed in 4-8 hours on the same day. Minor crack sealing can take 2-4 hours, while complex structural crack repairs may require a full day depending on the number and severity of cracks being addressed.
Can’t I just fix this with a DIY crack repair kit from a hardware store?
While DIY kits are tempting for surface-level fixes, they often fail because they only provide a “Band-Aid” seal.
- The DIY Limitation: Retail kits typically only penetrate the first inch of the wall. Because the crack exists through the entire thickness of your foundation, water and soil pressure will eventually push the patch out from the back.
- The Dwyer Difference: Our professional polyurethane injection system achieves full-wall penetration. We inject the resin under high pressure to ensure it fills the entire void from the inside out, creating a permanent, flexible gasket that DIY materials simply cannot match.
I’ve heard horror stories about foundation companies overcharging for unneeded repairs. How do I know I actually need this?
We are aware of the “scare tactics” some companies use to quote $40,000 piering jobs for minor settling. We refuse to operate that way.
Our Policy: If your crack is purely cosmetic, we will tell you. We believe in providing the right solution rather than selling you the most expensive service. Our goal is to protect your equity, not drain it.
Should I hire an independent Structural Engineer before I call you?
The Dwyer Company works hand in hand with both Structural and Geotechnical engineers on residential and commercial projects. We can provide recommendations and bring in the right team depending on the project size, repair, location and complexity.
What happens if the crack opens up again after the repair?
This is why professional service is superior to a handyman or a DIY kit. All of our structural crack repairs are backed by a transferable warranty. If the seal fails, we return to fix it at no cost to you. This warranty stays with the home, adding significant value and “peace of mind” for future buyers if you ever decide to sell.
